Dunlins
A flock at Prime Hook in Delaware, and why I keep a pair of binoculars by the door.
Letters

Dunlins at Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Delaware, from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. A whole letter about small brown birds is a risk, but here we are.
Shorebirds move as one body. You see the flock before you see a single bird, and when it turns the colour of it changes. That is the whole letter this month: go and watch one turn.
